Austin Texas Hotels

Four Seasons Hotel
With an excellent restaurant, and beautiful grounds, but the rooms are simple and ordinary  the standard room seems a little small. Friendly, no problems with check in or out, lobby and bar area is nicely decorated. The atmosphere feels very romantic and quiet, and is a welcome alternative to the downtown hussle.

San Jose Hotel
Cool ivy covered walls, comfy bed, ipod charger, across the street from the famed Continental Club. Hotel San Jose is so wonderfully designed and the grounds are just beautiful. The hotel staff and guests, especially, are really friendly. This is by far the most dog-friendly hotel Almost every person will stoop to greet your dog and everyone seemed to carry dog treats around with them!

Omni Hotels: Downtown Austin
The Omni has such a great name and reputation, but can be  a party hotel on the weekends. Overall, the hotel is nice, but getting older. It has a great lobby bar, lobby restaurant, and  nice rooms. The staff is top notch and the location ideal for visiting downtown Austin.

Embassy Suites Hotel
Nice, clean hotel. Staf. The parking is basically free. The staff is always friendly and responsive. The amenities are many, free breakfast, free evening cocktails, heated indoor pool, workout facility.  This hotel is in a good location if you are planning on going to the Austin City Limits Music Festival.

Hyatt Hotels & Resorts: Hyatt Regency Austin
Hyatt Regency Austin is deluxe hotel located just 7 miles from the busy Bergstrom International Airport. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, nice views. The lounge in the lobby has some outdoor seating - a really pretty.

Doubletree-Austin
The Doubletree Guest Suites in Austin is a 15 story, all suites hotel, which offers 189 newly renovated guest suites. This hotel offers a beautifully landscaped outdoor pool. You can feel as you were home. Great Choice for Texas State Business.

The Driskill Hotel
The Driskill Hotel is conveniently located in downtown Austin. It is very close to all the restaurants and entertainment on 6th street. Beautiful lobby and public areas in a classic hotel! Rooms unfortunatelly seem to be small.

Sheraton Austin Hotel
This Sheraton had updated decor from a recent renovation, which was nice. The rooms are now clean and the beds were very comfortable. But, you can hear the street noise and hallway noise from your room.    The room matches the always excellent service that this Sheraton provides. Good choice.
